CPMS Working Group Evidence Review Consultancy ToR

The Child Protection Minimum Standards Working Group of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action are seeking a research consultant related to the 'Working Across Sectors' Pillar in the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.    This area of work will aim to conduct a thorough analysis of existing research and grey literature in diverse humanitarian settings to document the impact of child protection sensitive sectoral programming. Ideally, the review will aim to quantify the potential cost of sectoral programming that does not sufficiently consider children’s protection and well-being.

General Deliverables:

1. Methodology for all aspects of the work

2. Two 10-page evidence reviews of the impact of sectoral programming that is unaware of child protection risks / the benefits of sectoral programming that is sensitive to child protection. Each evidence review will focus on one specific sector, likely to be health and camp management.

Timeframe:

This Evidence Review consultancy is currently being recruited for 20 days, from mid- November 2021 – 28 February 2022. The evidence review is scheduled for November-mid-January, with dissemination taking place in February 2022.
