HPC 2021 CORE DOCUMENTS

This page presents a selection of resources to assist CP coordinators and IMOs to prepare the 2021 Humanitarian Needs Overview and Humanitarian Response Plan (HNO / HRP).

- This CP AoR presentation from the Humanitarian Program Cycle (HPC) webinar includes key messages from Global Coordinators and key elements and recommendations for ensuring integration and centrality of protection lens and inclusion lens in HNOs and HRPs (October 2020). 

- The Global Protection Cluster (GPC) Webinars on 2021 HPC Guidance. You can find the recordings and supporting documents of the first GPC webinar (July 2020) and of the second GPC webinar (September 2020) that provide an overview of the guidance related to the HPC 2021 process. 

- The Advocacy Checklist on Targeting and Costing for CP in the HPC helps ensure the identification of needs, targeting and costing within needs overviews and response planning is in line with the Child Protection Minimum Standards (CPMS).

- The Needs Identification and Analysis Framework (NIAF). The Child Protection AoR also produced some specific COVID-19 guidance to help us analyse and prioritize during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

- The Brief on Setting Humanitarian Target Levels unfolds the process of defining humanitarian response targets to be reached collectively and provides practical guidance for calculating the targets. You can refer as well to the CP AoR Guidance Note on defining "in need" and "targeted" populations for Child Protection.
